The Next Generation of New Urbanists was founded in 2003. Our main webpage is located at http://www.cnunextgen.org.

NextGen was born out of and continues with the support of the Congress for the New Urbanism.

The First NextGen Congress was held in Chicago at CNU XII on June 23, 2004.

The Second NextGen Congress was held in Pasadena, California on June 8, 2005.

NextGen3 was held in Providence, RI on May 31, 2006.

NextGen4 was held in Philadelphia, PA on May 16, 2007.

NextGen5 was held in Austin, TX on April 2, 2008.

NextGen6 was held in Denver, CO on June 10th, 2009.

NextGen7 was held in Atlanta, GA on May 20th, 2010.

NextGen8 was held in Madison, WI on June 1, 2011.

NextGen9 will be held in West Palm Beach in 2012.
